I have been a caregiver since 2007. Sadly I have seen my dear ladies leave this earth. I have one wonderful lady for the past 10 years. I have had my ladies in and out of Care Centers and Hospitals. I took care of a dear friend for five years and had him five Care Centers before he went into the VA and past after one week. I recently visited five care facilities in the past few days. The hospital send my family member there. He was a homeless and theyThey didn't call me that he left and it's not a good place either way.
My brother passed away and we were not notified!! They just shipped my brother's body to the cemetery!! Nobody was there to answer any questions. They always gave you a number to call and when you call that number nobody ever answers!! You leave a message and they never get back to you. Just a horrible place!!!!
Honestly the worst most dangerous place to send a family member. It’s dirty and unsafe, employees don’t listen or really care for their patients. Patients left sitting in feces for hours. No disinfection, house keeping is non existent. Nurses are mean and careless. There is no precautions for any type of infection or infection control. SS is non existent. My dad was in there care for less than a week. He died in their care and they told me he “died in his sleep”. Then they didn’t give the Mortuary his medical records or call them back for a week. I had to call and threaten them. Come to find out the info they gave to the mortuary has now triggered an investigation by the corners office. So now I can’t bury my dad as planned tomorrow.
