I visited this facility Cascades of Chesterley has both assisted living and memory care. That's what I liked about that place. It was my first choice. It's under renovation right now. They're upgrading, but all in all, it was nice. The director Kayla was super nice and helpful. We kept communicating after the tour to see if I was ready to bring my brother in. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident Cascades of Chesterley has helped my mom be around with people. She seems a lot happier now and more relaxed. People have just been really great with her. They have church services on Sunday afternoons, which have been very important for her. She is getting good meals. It's been a pretty positive experience so far. They treat the residents really well. They were doing some major remodeling, so they're trying to upgrade the facility. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident My mom has only been there for a few days, but it seems like a very caring place. The memory care portion is nice with only 16 people to take care of. They called us once already to let us know of her situation, and we were happy with that. The room sizes are small. There's not a lot of closet space; I guess we would complain about that. They're OK, but nothing special. From what I've heard, they play games and go on trips. They take them to different places.
