I actually had PTSD and major anxiety due to my father being in a facility that was horrible . Thank god he wasn’t there long . So coming to visit my mom in this facility literally gave me major anxiety . Once I arrived and seen how safe your facility is and how you checked to see if I had a fever . Every where I looked people were caring for others and that just warmed my heart . My mom looked good and she looked so much better than before she arrived here . My wife was a patient in Driftwood for three weeks. They have some of the most carrying and attentive employees I’ve ever seen. Their p/t and o/t personnel are both thoughtful, knowledgeable, and caring. A special shout out to Dominique (an amazing person and true to her word).Dana ,who inspired my wife with prayer dedication and affirmation. Andrew, who was patient and determined to help her achieve her goals.Also management was their everyday speaking to patients and family asking if anyone needed anything.
I met with the friendly and amazing patient , resident and family advocate, Irine Garcia , Director of Social Services. She is knowledgeable and caring and thorough as she helps current clients and folks she helps to safely discharge home after a short term stay. Highly recommend the Driftwood and staff.
Worst experience my mother ever experienced. My mother was there for 12 hours and no one helped her to the restroom. My mother had a fractured right shoulder and a fractured left knee. No communication, rude and very unprofessional. My mother called me crying to her out of there. I had her transferred immediately. That place looks like the night of the living dead. Driftwood is surrounded with wonderful staff who are experienced and caring individuals. It’s been a pleasure to get to know all the staff from leadership down to the direct care staff. We’re a great team that strives to get even better every day.
