Protocol is to not connect calls to your loved ones, and to just get transferred into this never ending loop. This place is the absolute worst.... snarky, condescending, not respectful and unhelpful in every way!!!!!! Please, I ask and advise you to not let you loved ones stay here for even a a very small amount of time. Alden Poplar Creek is a great place for your loved one. My uncle has been there multiple times for rehabilitation and current is on Hospice care. His life is ending and I am eternally grateful to the loving and caring wonderful people that work in this place. Everyone is very attentive from the nursing staff, to the dietary department and every person who enters his room and comes in contact with him. I work in healthcare, and recently had my grandmother admitted to this facility for some rehab. I am unbelievably disgusted and horrified. After 3 days there, we moved her out even though we prepaid for 14. Other than it being completely unsanitary, the staff do not care for anyone here. During my visits, I saw alarms going off and caregivers standing at the nurses station on their phones, or with their heads down. Medications were left out on the med cart, and the last day I was there, caregivers were arguing in the hallway... read more
My Best friend is stayinh at ALDEN POPLAR CREEK. she said chef Jorge is umbeliennle in customer service. He goes out of his way to makesuretheir experience is a good ONE daily. I came to Alden to finish my rehab. The occupational therapist and physical therapist are outstanding. When I came, I could hardly walk and now I am able to get around easily with my walker. The staff there is loving and caring. I had obviously a wonderful experience.
