The staff at Alden took great care of my Mother during her time there. They were attentive, supportive and always readily available to provide assistance. It was an honor to have them take care of her during her last year with us. Thank you to staff, doctors and everyone who treated my Mom, a patient, like she was family.
I will continue to report the nonsense that happens at this facility, in hopes that administrators see this and that family of loved ones who require assisted living, remain aware of this place. I have been trying to get my dad out of this place for years. The unfortunate reality is that most nursing homes that accept his insurance and can provide the level of care he needs, are not accepting new residents or are out of our price range. This place was refusing to give me the information I needed in order to remove my mom from this facility to Kansas City. Rachael whom for one was deliberately giving me a hard time as if I wasn’t power of attorney as well as my brother, whom lived in Chicago.She refused to cooperate with supplying me the information that I needed.Rachel had to contact my brother,is what she told me. Please beware of this facility for your loved one, looks are deceiving. I am from Florida and my family and I had a tour and it looked like it was the right place for my beloved sister whom had been there 2 weeks to recover from a an tracheotomy, my sister was negligent to the max where someone there had Covid and got her contagious and she also developed pneumonia and it caused my sister death, the administration do not return calls and the nurse station do not pick up the phone or if by chance it do they leave you stranded... read more
ZERO is actually what this place deserves. My mom passed away Jan 31st of this year. Her trust fund we couldn’t get,due to the death certificate, even though she passed in your facility. My brother took the death certificate to them and now he’s being redirected elsewhere. This place needs to be investigated…anyone along with me needs to be contacting the city counselors, governor's, mayor office etc FILE complaints and get a petition going with signatures of the residents POA!!
