My mother was at Alden of Des Plaines for 5 years. We had a very good experience there from start to finish. It is a smaller more family type facility that gives great individual care. Everyone from the management staff to the nurses were great. We had no issues and anything that arose they were very accommodating. It’s very relieving to know that your loved one is in good hands and well taken care of! Thank You to Alden for a great experience!

Alden Gardens is a wonderful community! The care is phenomenal, many of the staff have long tenure, over 15+ years! You rarely see that in senior living. I’ve visited a number of times and the community was clean and residents were happy and engaged in activities. The Executive Director Carol, is very approachable and her compassion for seniors is very apparent. If you are looking for a smaller community with excellent care, Alden Gardens of Des Plaines is an outstanding choice!

My grandma lived at Alden Gardens of Des Plaines last year, and she had a great experience. She can be very picky (especially when it comes to food) but she loved the meals, which says a lot!! The facility was always very clean and well-kept, which gave our family peace of mind. But most importantly, the staff made all the difference. They were kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about her well-being. This has been a professional, caring, personal experience for me. From Executive Director to M arketing Liasion to the nurses, CNAs to the support staff - the people who make sure my husbands tv works and the temp. In room is good to the staff who ensure his room is spotless - they all authentically care. This had been a nightmare until my husband transitioned to Alden. I have had such a positive experience with Alden Garden and Courts of Des Plaines. The staff is always welcoming, kind, and attentive to both residents and families. One thing that truly stands out is seeing the same familiar staff members consistently present, which creates comfort, trust, and stability for the residents. The clients always appear happy, content, and well cared for. It is clear the team genuinely cares about providing a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment.
